What is the 5-Star Certification Program?

The Denver 5-Star Certification Program allows certified businesses to increase their capacity by implementing safety measures beyond what is already required by public health orders and guidelines to slow the spread of COVID-19. This program supports responsible businesses that are going above and beyond to prioritize the health and safety of their staff and customers. 5-Star certification reassures employees and customers that businesses are adhering to enhanced guidance. The program is completely voluntary and also serves as an expanding directory of establishments recognized for their efforts to keep their communities safe and open.

Elixir Mind Body Massage has implemented numerous health and safety actions beyond the required measures and has passed an on-site audit to qualify for Denver’s 5-Star Certification Program.  What does this mean for our guests and employees?  It means that we have gone the extra mile to ensure we are providing services in a safe environment, following proven and identifiable ways to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Health and wellness have always been our focus at Elixir.  With the COVID-19 pandemic, we are staying up to date with reliable information from the WHO and CDC, and local authorities, including DORA and the Colorado Department of Health.  We have taken additional steps beyond our normal hygiene and cleaning practices to ensure that both our guests and employees stay healthy, including passing an on-site audit to become 5-Star Certified by the City and County of Denver.  We also understand that even if someone doesn’t get sick from the virus, they may still be suffering from stress or anxiety about the Coronavirus.
